Over speeding vehicles on roads is one of the major causes of accidents and fatalities. Researchers have linked over speeding with the driver’s psychology, also in recent past, with augmented IT enabled infrastructure available in cities, remote surveillance and electronic challan system is now being adopted by cities to enforce safe vehicle speeds. Also, for better accountability authorities are opting for speed display systems, in order to make the driver aware about his / her current vehicle speed. This book is an attempt to study the impact of Dynamic Speed Display System (2DS) and electronic remote surveillance on driver behavior towards over speeding.
