1. No Return or Refund Policy
At OctoBooks.com, all sales are considered final. We do not offer any returns or refunds once an order is confirmed and shipped. This policy applies to all physical and digital book purchases. We encourage our customers to read book descriptions, check formats, and review product details before placing an order.
Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Ordering by mistake
- Dislike of book content, format, or author
- Delayed delivery due to courier or logistics issues
- Wrong address provided by the customer
- Minor cosmetic damages such as bent corners or scratches that do not affect readability
2. 7-Day Replacement Policy
We understand that errors or damage may occur during the packing or shipping process. Therefore, we offer a limited replacement policy under the following conditions:
- You have received a physically damaged book (torn pages, misprinted, or unreadable).
- You have received an incorrect book or edition different from what you ordered.
- The issue is reported within 7 calendar days of delivery as per the tracking records.
To initiate a replacement request, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to cs@octobooks.com with the subject line: “Replacement Request – Order #[Your Order ID]”.
- Include your full name, shipping address, and contact number in the email body.
- Describe the issue clearly and attach photographic or video evidence of the problem (such as damaged pages, packaging, or incorrect book).
- Our customer service team will review your request and respond within 2 business days with further instructions.
If your replacement request is approved, we will ship a replacement copy of the same book to your address at no extra charge. If the book is out of stock or no longer available, we may offer a similar title or issue store credit.
3. Conditions for Replacement Approval
To be eligible for a replacement, the following conditions must be met:
- The book must be in its original condition, unused, and with no further damage caused after delivery.
- The complaint must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- Supporting proof (photos or video) must be submitted for verification.
- The shipping label or invoice should be retained for verification.
4. Exclusions
Replacement requests will be rejected under the following conditions:
- No proof of damage or error is submitted.
- The product was altered, mishandled, or used after delivery.
- The request was made after the 7-day window from the date of delivery.
- The issue is related to subjective content dissatisfaction.
